For our K–8 program: We offer several financial aid options, including the NC Opportunity Scholarship, the NC ESA+ Program for students with disabilities, and ELS Financial Aid for families who don't qualify for state programs or need additional assistance.

Applications for the NC Opportunity Scholarship are submitted directly to the state program. The priority application period is February 1 – March 1, though late applications may be considered if funding remains available.

To apply for ELS Financial Aid, you'll need to create a separate account through our financial aid system and complete the application process, which includes providing financial documentation. There is an additional fee to apply for aid. ELS financial aid is only offered to students in our K–8 program.

Financial aid must be reapplied for annually. However, as long as your family situation remains similar and you meet program requirements, you can typically expect similar levels of support each year.

We do accept state vouchers. Please contact our Director, Nicole Loria, to discuss your specific situation.

Financial aid decisions for the NC Opportunity Scholarship are typically announced in April. ELS Financial Aid decisions are made on a rolling basis after the priority enrollment period ends in February.

If your family experiences significant financial changes during the school year, please contact our office. We make every effort to work with families facing unexpected hardships to ensure educational continuity for students.
